About The Photographer
I was born and raised in Halifax, NS and for the past 10 years I've been exploring the field of digital photography. I am self-taught and my interest in photography began in the early 1980s when I got my first point and shoot film camera. My photographic interests range from nature to landscapes.
A member of the Veith Street Gallery collective of artists Creative Spirit East since 2007; I've explored different fields of photography, such as abstracts and portraiture. I was an Artist-in-Residence from May-August 2009, resulting in my first solo showing of portraiture. During my residency, I worked for the Scotia Festival of Music as a photographer during rehearsals for upcoming concerts.
Since June 2011, I have been working at Veith Street Gallery in the Project Curator program and have curated two successful group exhibits “Macabre” and "Gallery of Horrors”. I helped produce a 2012 calendar for charity using the talents of members of the Creative Spirit East collective, all money going back to Veith Street Gallery.
Currently, I run a photography club I created in February of 2012 called Creative Spirit East Photographers (formerly CSE Shutterbugs). There is a website that have created for it called "Creative Spirits Photography" which showcases the photography of our members, and offers links to please any serious digital photographer looking to improve their craft. I have done volunteer photography for Steve Leveille for the events we cover for "Nova Scotia Sunny News" and other programs as part of www.stevetv.tk.

Very recently, I have started creating "Best of" MovieMaker slideshows for my website. I sincerely hope you enjoy the first one, from 2006
